Parent Involvement

Supportive & Involved Families

We believe that a parent or guardian is a child’s first and most important teacher; therefore, we include parents in the learning process and insist on parental involvement in our program. We encourage and facilitate communication between home and school, including an awareness of current trends in education and sharing planned activities for the children. We designed our program to foster relationships between home and school and between families of the children within each class and in the entire Cedar Crest community.

What does Parent Involvement Mean?

Passionate Teachers

Amazing Teachers

This is a great school with a true leader and amazing teachers. The past year has been challenging due to the pandemic and the school staff did everything they could to make it a safe and nurturing environment for all the kids. The covid protocols are effective and my daughter is learning well academically and she feels so happy to go to school every day. I would highly recommend the school to everyone!

Pre-Primary Parent

Appropriately Challenging

I am very delighted with both the academic as well as personality development focus for young kids. There are numerous class room activities starting from writing alphabets to numbers to fun craft work to singing\dance performances. They also have a covered patio at the back for kids to play when it rains, which is very useful for Seattle weather.

Pre-Primary Parent

A perfect blend of head and heart

Cedar Crest Academy is a perfect blend of nurturing both the head and the heart. There is a focus on academic excellence, but they also make time for values and fun.

Elementary Parent
