Meals & Snacks: All facilities employ a full-time cook who prepares meals and snacks from fresh ingredients each day. All fruits, vegetables, and dairy used for meals and snacks are organic.
Pre-Primary
Academic School Day: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Before Care: 8:00 am - 9:00 am
After Care: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Approximate Class Size: 10-20 students per class, depending on the classroom size
Students to Teacher Ratio: 10:1* depends on campus
Age Range: 36 months - 5 years old (Children must be 36 months by September 1st to enroll in Preschool)
Meals & Snacks: Two nutritious snacks in the morning and afternoon. One delicious and freshly made lunch.
Quiet/Nap Time: Cedar Crest is required by law to provide a rest period for Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten students. All students rest on their provided cots for the first 30 to 45 minutes. After this time, a quiet table, small group activity or occasionally a one-on-one teaching activity will be provided.
Recess Period: Each class has two supervised recess periods daily. Recess happens in the morning and afternoon and typically lasts between 30 - 40 minutes.
Curriculum: Our curriculums are selected based on research in the field of early childhood development. We ensure developmentally appropriate and comprehensive lessons and activities that encourage our students to think deeply and creatively.
Elementary
Academic School Day: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Bellewood)
Before Care: 8:00 am - 8:30 am
After Care: 3:30 PM - 6:00 pm
Approximate Class Size: Cedar Crest Academy’s Elementary class sizes range between 14 - 20 students.
Students to Teacher Ratio: 14:1

Age Range: 5 - 11 years old
Meals & Snacks: One nutritious snack in the morning and one delicious and freshly made lunch. An additional afternoon snack is provided for After Care students only. Elementary students can bring their own lunch, following our Lunch from Home Policy.
Uniforms: All Bellewood Elementary students are required to wear our school uniforms. Our official provider is Dennis Uniform.
