Action Plan, Travel Policies & Safety Protocols
Cedar Crest Academy is committed to the health and safety of all our students and staff.
Following the outbreak of COVID-19 and its proceeding variants, Cedar Crest has followed Washington State’s mandates and the national data provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Cedar Crest Academy has returned to an entirely in-person program and intends to continue as such unless mandated otherwise by local, state, and federal public health officials, including the CDC and AAP.
Prevention Strategies: A New Normal
Cedar Crest Academy enforces a COVID Response Plan, and in the event of a positive COVID case will follow all reporting procedures to Seattle and King County Public Health.
If a child demonstrates COVID like symptoms while at school, the child will be isolated in a designated space away from the other children, and the parents will be contacted with the expectation the child is picked up immediately.
Cedar Crest follows the Seattle and King County Public Health Return to School Flow Chart and the child may return to school when the requirements of the Flow Chart are met. Click here to view the flow chart.
